Summary
We are seeking skilled Roofers to join our dedicated team working across Somerset on a long term contract. As a Roofer at Davey Roofing Southern Ltd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the durability and safety of roofing systems on various construction projects in the region. PAYE or self employed on price positions available.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems according to project specifications.
- Work with various roofing materials including tiles, shingles, and membranes.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist in the fabrication and installation of roofing components.
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Support team members in heavy lifting and material handling tasks.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Roofer or similar role.
- Knowledge of roofing techniques, materials, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read schematics related to roofing installations.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Strong physical fitness and ability to perform heavy lifting.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications or licenses are preferred.
