Air Conditioning Engineer £35,000–£45,000 per year, depending on experience Full-time | Permanent | Company Van The opportunity Cambridge Air Conditioning is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team. This is a permanent position for an engineer who takes pride in their work and wants to join a company where quality matters. A major benefit of this role is the type of work we carry out. The majority of our work is local to Cambridgeshire, predominantly clean domestic installations, rather than spending your week travelling long distances between sites. We have a strong pipeline of work and are looking for the right person to become an important part of the business as we continue to grow. What you'll be doing The role will primarily involve: - Installing split and multi-split air conditioning systems - Predominantly domestic installations - Working mainly throughout Cambridge and the surrounding area - Commissioning and testing systems - Fault finding, servicing and maintenance when required - Completing job documentation and installation records - Maintaining a high standard of workmanship - Providing a professional and friendly service to our customers We install equipment from leading manufacturers including Fujitsu, Toshiba and Panasonic. What we're looking for Essential: - Valid F-Gas qualification - Good air conditioning installation experience - Full UK driving licence - High standard of workmanship - Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability - Professional and confident with customers - Reliable and able to work well within a team Ideally, you'll have 3+ years' experience, although we're more interested in finding the right person with the right attitude and standard of work. We would also consider an experienced heating or heat-pump engineer with relevant air conditioning experience who wants to develop further within the AC industry.
