Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and parts used for each vehicle or piece of equipment
- Use diagnostic tools and software to pinpoint problems quickly and accurately
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and coordinate maintenance schedules
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and repair techniques
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports clearly
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, and repair equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills with an energetic approach to troubleshooting challenges
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure precise repairs and maintenance tasks
- Valid mechanic’s license or certification (such as ASE certification) is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
