Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Catering Assistant to join our team, providing exceptional service and support in a dynamic catering environment. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, service, and delivery, ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction. Duties
- Assist with food preparation and presentation in accordance with health and safety standards
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
- Support the setup and breakdown of catering events, including table arrangements and equipment
- Deliver catering orders to clients’ locations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas
- Ensure food safety protocols are strictly followed at all times
- Provide excellent guest services, addressing customer needs promptly and professionally
- Handle phone enquiries courteously, providing information about services and availability
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and storage organisation
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant environments is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience as a delivery driver is advantageous
- Cooking or culinary experience is beneficial but not essential
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, meal preparation, and serving techniques
- Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Customer-focused attitude with friendly interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends or evenings if required

Pay: £13.45-£13.78 per hour
