Job Summary
The Sales Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the sales / production team by managing administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various software applications and possess a solid understanding of sales administration processes.
Duties
- Provide administrative support to the sales / production team, including managing schedules and coordinating jobs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Assist in processing sales orders and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to enhance client relationships.
- Work alongside production, to ensure seamless operations within the sales process.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Maintain an organised filing system for all sales documentation and correspondence.
- Be efficient and thorough in material ordering processes from suppliers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Sage & Quickbooks or other accounting software is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Excellent computer skills with a high level of computer literacy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- A customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
