Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Summer Temp to join our dynamic team. This temporary role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment, supporting various operational functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a proactive and confident attitude.
The candidate must be available from July to the End of August. There is a chance of keeping the right candidate on for a part time role. Please notify us in your cover letter/application if you have any holidays already booked in.
Duties
- Greet and assist customers
- Washing and organising cake decorating supplies
- Maintain organisational standards within the store or designated work area
- Manage time effectively to complete tasks within allocated shifts
- Support team members with daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer experience
- Follow company policies and procedures diligently, adhering to health and safety guidelines
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock management
- Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Experience in merchandising or upselling techniques is a plus
- Proven time management skills to ensure efficiency during busy periods
- Professional phone etiquette and organisational skills are essential for success in this role
Pay: Up to £12.80 per hour
