Purpose and objectives of the role:
As a Static Engineer, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of building services systems across the site. Reporting directly to the Contract Manager, you'll help ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all facilities and plant equipment.
Main duties and responsibilities:
You'll be involved in a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance activities, including:

Emergency lighting maintenance

L8 water hygiene monitoring
-
AHU servicing and maintenance
-
Fan coil unit servicing
-
Pump servicing and maintenance
-
Minor electrical works
-
Basic plumbing repairs, including taps, flush valves, siphons, and waste pipework

BEMS/BMES system monitoring and control panel interrogations
-
Completing statutory PPMs in line with SFG20 requirements
-
Maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based maintenance records
-
Housekeeping of plant rooms and service areas
-
Supervising and coordinating subcontractors on site.
Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
-
Recognised trade qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Desirable:
-
18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualification
-
Recognised apprenticeship
-
Experience within a commercial maintenance environment.
