Job Role
As a Customer Service Advisor at Savona, you will play an important part in delivering a friendly, efficient and reliable service to our customers. You will be a key point of contact for customers, helping with orders, answering queries, resolving issues and making sure every interaction reflects our customer-first approach. This role requires someone who can build rapport quickly, communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure and work closely with colleagues across the business to provide the best possible customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a professional and helpful to customers by phone, email, WhatsApp and other channels.
- Process orders accurately, including changes, substitutions and special requirements.
- Respond promptly to queries so customers feel listened to and supported.
- Follow up delivery issues, shortages, credits, complaints and account queries until resolved.
- Work with Sales, Operations, Transport and Purchasing to provide clear customer updates.
- Keep customer records, notes and order details accurate and up to date.
- Support customers with online ordering tools and queries.
- Spot repeat issues or service improvement opportunities and escalate where needed.
- Handle challenging conversations calmly, professionally and fairly.
- Work with colleagues to maintain service levels during busy periods and absences.
- Represent Savona positively through personal, reliable and customer-focused service.
Experience Required:
- Previous customer service experience would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport.
- Confidence using email, Outlook and digital communication tools.
- Good attention to detail when entering orders and updating records.
- A positive, patient approach to customer queries and complaints.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and stay calm under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ownership of queries through to resolution.
- Willingness to learn new systems, products and processes.
- A team-focused approach and willingness to support colleagues.
- Foodservice, wholesale, hospitality or retail experience would be an advantage.
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
