We are looking for an inspiring Team Leader to join our Staffordshire Together for Carers Adult Service, leading a team dedicated to improving outcomes for unpaid carers across Staffordshire. The successful candidate will provide leadership, supervision and operational oversight while ensuring carers receive high-quality, person-centred support.
Working closely with the Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of the service, manage team performance against key objectives, and ensure that carers have access to information, advice, peer support, training opportunities and community-based services. You will support your team to identify hidden carers, undertake asset-based assessments, develop support plans and connect carers with the help they need.
As a leader, you will provide line management, supervision, appraisal and professional development support to employees, volunteers and students. You will play a key role in safeguarding, quality assurance, service improvement and partnership working across health, social care and community organisations. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and representing the service at meetings, events and forums will be an important part of the role.
