We're looking for an enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our talented kitchen team at The Wayfarer Brewpub & Dining Rooms.
Whether you're fresh out of college or have already gained some kitchen experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced chefs, develop your skills and be part of a team that's passionate about producing exceptional food using quality, seasonal ingredients.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the chefs with food preparation and service.
- Learning different sections of the kitchen.
- Preparing fresh ingredients to our high standards.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Helping deliver consistently high-quality dishes during busy service.
- Working as part of a supportive and motivated team.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for food and cooking.
- Is eager to learn and develop their skills.
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Works well under pressure.
- Is reliable, organised and enjoys being part of a team.
- Holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or is willing to obtain one).
