Role Overview:We are a well-established packaging manufacturer supplying high-quality solutions to a wide range of customers looking for Trainee Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team.
This is a training-focused support role working closely with the Engineering Manager, who will provide hands-on development in preventative maintenance, fault-finding, and machine troubleshooting. Ideal for someone starting their engineering career or looking to progress within manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support day-to-day maintenance of packaging machinery
· Assist with preventative maintenance schedules
· Help diagnose and resolve basic mechanical and electrical faults
· Carry out routine inspections and minor repairs
· Complete appropriate admin upon completion of tasks
Skills & Experience:
· Interest in engineering and manufacturing
· Willingness to learn and develop practical skills
· Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge (training provided)
· Engineering qualification or apprenticeship desirable but not essential
· Basic computer skills

Hours: Mon-Friday 8am-4pm
