Marshall Amplification plc is a well-established company based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.
An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assistant to join the Quality Department.
The purpose of the role is to maintain and control all quality-managed documentation, carry out regular data analysis, and report findings to the Quality Manager, support internal audits. You will play a key role in supporting investigations by providing clear data insights, including charts and trend analysis.
Candidates should have experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, particularly in relation to producing accurate weekly data analysis reports and maintaining information to a high standard. Candidates should be confident using Excel for data entry, analysis and reporting purposes. Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS) or within a quality-focused environment would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a willingness to undertake training and develop skills in areas such as D365 and auditing processes.
Duties include:
- Maintain, review, and manage version control of all quality-controlled documentation to ensure it reflects current practices.
- Support internal process audits by collating and preparing all relevant documentation required for audit activities.
- Conduct product audits in line with company standards.
- Support quality investigations across all areas of the business by providing relevant data analysis.
- Collate weekly fault data from all production areas.
- Produce weekly fault data reports.
- Analyse data trends and produce weekly report, highlighting key issues or areas of concern.
- Maintain & Control Reference Unit Log.
Microsoft Office & Systems Experience:
Word:
- Text editing and formatting
- Tables, images, and graphics
- Review tools (Track Changes, Comments)
Excel:
- Data entry and formatting
- Formulas and functions (SUM, IF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, COUNTIF)
- Data analysis tools (sorting, filtering, conditional formatting, PivotTables)
- Charts and data visualisation
- Accuracy checking and validation
Outlook:
- Email and inbox management
- Calendar scheduling
- Tasks, reminders, and follow-ups
Hours of Work – 39 hours per week:
Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm (1-hour lunch break)
Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm (1-hour lunch break)

Pay: £29,000.00 per year
