Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with vascular disorders through clinical examinations and medical imaging techniques.
- Develop personalised treatment plans, including surgical interventions and minimally invasive procedures.
- Perform complex vascular surgeries such as bypasses, endovascular repairs, and thrombectomies with precision and adherence to safety standards.
- Monitor postoperative recovery, ensuring effective medication administration and wound management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiologists, nurses, physiotherapists, and primary care physicians to coordinate patient care.
- Engage in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving vascular treatment protocols and patient outcomes.
- Provide specialised consultation services for patients in ICU settings, nursing homes, hospice care, or during home visits as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Medical Degree with specialist training in Vascular Surgery recognised by relevant medical boards.
- Proven experience in clinical research related to vascular health or surgical innovations is desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of human anatomy with particular focus on vascular systems.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques such as Doppler ultrasound, angiography, or MRI relevant to vascular diagnostics.
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to diverse populations including senior citizens and hospice patients.
- Experience in ICU settings or home care environments is advantageous.
- Competence in medication administration and management of complex cases involving multiple comorbidities.
- Familiarity with public health principles and practices related to vascular disease prevention and management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
