At present we need to recruit an experienced Technical Support Officer to support our clients, based throughout North Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
What you will bring...
We are currently seeking an experienced technical support person to help support our clients throughout the North of England. As an employer who is focused on offering work life balance the role is be based at County Hall however, we are happy to allow our staff to work partly from home once training has been completed. Primarily supporting customers by phone and by remote support, this role may very occasionally require visits to customer premises.
To be considered for the role you will need to be able to deliver high-level fault diagnosis and resolve issues on all aspects of ICT, including physical and virtual network servers, general IT hardware including printers, AVA, software and operating systems and LAN and WAN infrastructure. You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace environments. Fault call diagnosis will take place primarily via telephone and remotely but may occasionally include visits to customer sites.
The successful candidate will also require an elevated level of customer service, and the ability to communicate technical issues and instructions to customers at all levels. This role is ideal for those already experienced in an IT support environment.
You will be offered higher level training as part of this career scheme to enhance your already existing knowledge of Microsoft, Google and other products.
