Queen’s Quarter Dental is looking for an enthusiastic dental nurse, either qualified or trainee, that would like to join our fun and friendly team.
We have an existing list of Denplan & Private patients.
We are in the heart of the University and Botanic areas with plenty of coffee and lunch spots!
We are seeking a skilled Dental Nurse or someone willing to undertake training to join our team in providing high-quality dental care. The ideal candidate will be organised, possess excellent patient care skills, and have strong communication abilities. Must be flexible with working hours and be able to cover holidays and sick leave when required. 3-4 days initially as a minimum with the potential for more in the future and for the right candidate.
Duties
- Willing to complete Dental Nursing course if not already qualified/enrolled (We will cover cost of training and first examination)
- Assist the dentist during patient examinations and treatments
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment for procedures
- Prepare dental materials and ensure equipment is in working order
- Provide support and reassurance to patients before, during, and after treatment
- Process x-rays and complete laboratory tasks as needed
- Occasional reception duties
Skills
- Excellent organisational skills to manage patient records and appointments efficiently
- Strong patient care skills to provide comfort and support during dental procedures
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
- Basic IT skills for maintaining digital records
- Proficient in English for clear communication with patients and team members
Payscale
- Negotiable depending on experience
PLEASE NOTE THAT CANDIDATES WITH AN EXISTING BACHELOR OF DENTAL SURGERY DEGREE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED

Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour
