Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team, providing essential support to individuals receiving home care services. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Support clients in taking their medications as prescribed, following care plans accurately
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a caring environment
- Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met safely
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Keep accurate records of care provided, including updates to care plans and incident reports
- Use IT tools to document client progress and communicate with team members efficiently
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Valid driving license is advantageous for roles involving home visits or transportation of clients
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and adapt to individual needs
- Good IT skills for maintaining records and using digital communication tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring, respectful approach towards all clients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
