Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced CPCS/NPORS 360 Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery, specifically a 360-degree excavator, to support construction and excavation projects. Your mechanical knowledge and commercial driving skills will be essential in ensuring safe, efficient, and precise operation of equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to dynamic projects while maintaining high safety standards and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate CPCS/NPORS certified 360 excavators safely and efficiently across various construction sites.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure optimal functioning and identify potential maintenance needs.
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and excavation tasks as directed by project supervisors.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and team members.
- Maintain accurate logs of machine usage, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver quality results.
- Support other site operations requiring mechanical expertise or commercial driving capabilities as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience operating CPCS or NPORS certified 360 excavators in a construction environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues with heavy machinery.
- Valid commercial driving license with experience driving large vehicles or machinery on-site.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus and safety standards.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
