Fairfields Private Day Nursery part of the Creche-n Co ltd group are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Level / TLevel 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our childcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a nurturing environment, supporting the development and well-being of young children. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and relevant nursery experience. This paid position is suitable for individuals committed to fostering a safe, engaging, and educational setting for children aged from birth to five years.

Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and socialization among children.
- Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, and organized activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Support children's emotional and behavioural development through positive reinforcement and personalised care.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines in line with nursery policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
- Assist with the organisation of nursery events and outings, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of nursery programmes by sharing ideas and best practices.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and child development stages.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated management and leadership abilities within a team environment.
- Ability to organise activities effectively whilst maintaining flexibility to adapt as needed.
- Compassionate approach with a genuine interest in supporting children's growth.
- Good organisational skills to manage daily routines efficiently.
Pay: £12.81 per hour
