Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bid Writer to join our team and drive our proposal success! As a Bid Writer, you will be the key driver behind crafting compelling, clear, and persuasive bid submissions that showcase our strengths and win new business opportunities. Your energetic approach and exceptional communication skills will ensure our proposals stand out in competitive markets. Duties
- Develop, write, and edit high-quality bid proposals, tenders, and expressions of interest in response to client requests.
- Collaborate closely with project teams, sales, and technical staff to gather accurate information and understand project requirements.
- Proofread all proposal documents meticulously to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency before submission.
- Maintain organized bid libraries and templates to streamline future proposal development processes.
- Manage multiple bid deadlines simultaneously while ensuring each submission meets client specifications and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather insights, clarify requirements, and present proposals confidently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bid writing or proposal development within a competitive environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives that highlight key value propositions.
- Strong word processing skills using Microsoft Word or similar platforms for drafting and formatting documents.
- Attention to detail with excellent proofreading abilities to eliminate errors and enhance professionalism.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong teamwork skills with the capacity to collaborate across departments effectively.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3.0 – 10.0 per week
