Summary
We are seeking a dedicated MOT Tester/Technician to join our dynamic team at P and T Motors Ltd. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and performance of vehicles, contributing to our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough MOT tests on various vehicles
- Perform vehicle servicing and repairs including timing belts, clutches, and cylinder heads
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively for repairs
- Fitting of tyres
- Handle collection and delivery of customer vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of services performed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workshop operations
- Uphold safety standards within the workshop environment
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as an MOT Tester or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to vehicle repair
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Full driving license is mandatory
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
