Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Parts Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Porsche Centre by performing various driving related to the handling and distribution of goods. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Duties
- Operate warehouse equipment,
- Assist with lifting and manual handling of products, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch while maintaining quality control standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and order status.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Drive company Parts Van for deliveries to Trade Customers, ensuring timely transportation of goods to designated locations.
- Support inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred but not essential.
- A valid driver's licence is required; experience as a van driver or delivery driver is required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly, demonstrating physical stamina and strength.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and coordination within the warehouse environment.
