Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and reliable Painters (2 off) to join our team for two weeks. CIS
Hours - 8am til 4pm.
The job is Seaford, Eastbourne.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to achieve desired results
- Mix colours and prepare paint according to manufacturer instructions
- Inspect finished work for quality and consistency, making touch-ups as necessary
- Maintain a clean work environment by organising tools and disposing of waste responsibly
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations throughout each phase of the project
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting or related trades is preferred
- Familiarity with different types of paints, coatings, and application techniques
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between sites
- Strong communication skills in English to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications is desirable
- Prior experience working on renovation or new build projects will be considered an asset
