Wivenhoe House Hotel is looking for enthusiastic and friendly Food & Beverage Team Members to join our team.
Wivenhoe House is a beautiful 18th-century, 4-star hotel located close to the picturesque quayside village of Wivenhoe and just minutes from Colchester.
With 40 bedrooms, the 80-cover, one AA Rosette Park Brasserie and a range of event spaces, including the Garden Suite for up to 120 guests, no two days are the same.
We are also home to the Edge Hotel School, with our team supporting and mentoring students studying Hospitality degrees through valuable hands-on experience.
The Role
This is a varied and exciting opportunity to work across a number of areas within the hotel. Depending on the shift, you could be:
- Serving guests in the Park Brasserie
- Delivering Afternoon Tea
- Working behind the bar
- Supporting conferences and meetings
- Helping to deliver weddings and private events
- Setting up event spaces ready for guests
- Providing excellent service throughout the guest experience
As a Food & Beverage Team Member, you will play an important role in ensuring every guest receives friendly, professional and attentive service.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in hospitality, waiting or bar service would be an advantage, but it is not essential. We are looking for people with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Working Hours
This is a Casual / On Demand role, with variable hours depending on the needs of the business.
Shifts may include early starts, late finishes, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and holiday periods. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays on a regular basis.
