Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in various construction projects, ensuring that groundwork is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain site areas for construction activities, including clearing debris and levelling surfaces.
- Assist in the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other essential groundwork tasks.
- Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to site meetings as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in groundwork or construction is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is advantageous.
- A valid CSCS card is desirable but not mandatory; candidates will be supported in obtaining this certification if needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role.

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
