Housekeeping Assistant
The Lewis Partnership is looking to recruit a Housekeeping Assistant to service bedrooms and maintain cleanliness at our 4 star hotel, The Moat House in Acton Trussell.
What are we looking for?
- We are looking to recruit a part time Housekeeper available for approximately 16 hours per week
- Individuals who have an eye for detail
- Someone who is committed, enthusiastic and self motivated
- Previous experience as a housekeeper is preferred but not essential as full training will be given
- A great team player with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Due to the rural location of the hotel, having your own transport or living locally is essential
- The ability to work weekends is essential
What does the role entail?
- Servicing bedrooms - changing bed linen & towels, cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture, restocking supplies etc.
- Monitoring and reporting any maintenance issues to the Head Housekeeper
- Ensuring the cleanliness of all public areas are maintained
- Speaking with guests and helping with their queries

- Salary: National minimum wage, plus tips
- Hours: approximately 16 hours per week, 1-3 days over 7. Candidates MUST be available to work 1 weekend day per week.
