Duties
- Assist chefs and cooks in meal preparation and cooking processes.
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Help with catering events by setting up and serving food as needed.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure timely meal delivery.
- Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with team members.
