Fabric Engineer
Location: High-End Estate - SW1X
Salary: Up to £36,000, potentially more for the right candidate
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer to join a growing on-site maintenance team at a prestigious, high-end client site in Belgravia.
You will be part of a team of 10+ engineers, carrying out a wide range of general fabric maintenance. This role would suit a strong all-rounder who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of delivering a high-quality service within a premium environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across the site
- Complete general building maintenance and repairs
- Carry out basic carpentry, plumbing, decorating and other fabric-related works
- Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain high standards of workmanship across a high-end client environment
- Complete maintenance records and relevant documentation
- Work closely with the wider on-site engineering team
- Support contractors and other trades where required
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures
About You
- Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Handyperson within an FM environment
- Strong all-round fabric maintenance skills
- Confident carrying out a variety of general building maintenance tasks
- Good communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Comfortable working within a high-end client environment
- Able to work independently as well as part of a wider engineering team
