About the Role
We’re looking for caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistants to join our partner nurseries and early years settings across Greater London.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to start or develop your career in early years education, supporting children from birth to five years old. You’ll help create safe, engaging, and inclusive environments where every child can learn and thrive.
You’ll gain experience in all areas of early years practice — from child development and safeguarding to planning age-appropriate activities and supporting children with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the nursery team in providing high-quality early education and care
- Assist with planning and delivering play-based learning in line with the EYFS statutory framework
- Promote safeguarding, child protection, and wellbeing at all times
- Support children’s learning and development through observation, feedback, and interaction
- Help implement inclusive practice and support children with SEND
- Encourage positive behaviour and support trauma-informed approaches
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children
- Contribute to daily routines, including meal times, personal care, and play activities
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Understanding of child development (birth to five years)
- Awareness of safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional conduct
- Ability to plan and adapt activities for individual learning needs
- Knowledge of inclusive practice, SEND awareness, and positive behaviour management
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
- Culturally sensitive and able to work effectively with families from diverse backgrounds
Desirable Qualifications
- Level 1 or 2 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or related subject (or willingness to work towards one)
- Experience in a nursery, preschool, or early years classroom environment

- Level 3 Paediatric First Aid certificate (Willingness to work towards)
