Hours of work: 40 hours minimum, including various shift patterns, days and nights
Salary: £14.15 per hour
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Supreme Facilities Ltd is an S.I.A Approved contractor specialising in the provision of security solutions, facilities management & services, catering and properties management within the UK. Supreme values adaptability, collaboration, and commitment.
The role, Supreme is working with a national organisation highly regarded for their ability to provide high-quality care, support, and accommodation to vulnerable groups across the UK. These include displaced peoples who are placed into designated emergency accommodation whilst their process of settlement is being reviewed.
You will be responsible for the safety of all residents, assets, and the premises, either in person or via security cameras. This will be carried out through patrol, monitor surveillance equipment, regular building inspections, guard entry points, and verification of visitors. The Security Officer will also respond to potential hazards, such as broken lights or doors, disturbances, lost persons, and minor injuries.
In serious emergencies, such as fires, crime, or medicals, you will secure the scene, summon emergency responders, help redirect foot traffic, and document the incident.
The role may also require the security officer to perform limited peace officer functions.
Previous experience working in a similar setting would be preferable but not essential as full training and familiarisation with the site will be provided.

Role Criteria:
- Experience in surveillance techniques or loss prevention methods.
- Understanding of safeguarding principles
- Excellent communication skills within a diverse group
Requirements:
- Security Clearance Certificate (preferred)
- SIA Front Line or SIA Door Supervision Licence (essential)
