- Emcare – delivering specialist Health & Social Care, clinical and health & safety training.
We are looking for enthusiastic, engaging and clinically experienced nurses to join our bank training team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys teaching others and wants flexible work that fits around existing NHS, community, GP practice or other professional commitments.
The Role
As a Bank Nurse Trainer, you will deliver a variety of accredited and bespoke training courses. Courses may include:
- First Aid at Work
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- Basic Life Support
- Anaphylaxis
- Medical Emergencies
- Infection Prevention & Control
- Administration of Medication
- Moving & Assisting (where appropriately qualified)
- Health & Social Care subjects
- Other clinical and mandatory training relevant to your experience
Full training and mentoring will be provided on our course materials where required.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is or has been a Registered Nurse
- Has recent clinical/ social care experience
- Is passionate about developing others and delivering high-quality education.
- Has excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Is confident engaging with groups of learners from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Is organised, reliable and professional.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle.
Desirable
It would be advantageous if you:
- Hold a teaching or training qualification (such as Level 3 Award in Education & Training), or are willing to work towards one.
- Have previous experience delivering education or training.
- Have experience working within health or social care settings supporting adults, children or people with complex needs.
