We have an exciting new vacancy for a Head Chef to join our team at The Adamton Country House Hotel. This magnificent manor, set within a historic estate dating back to the 11th century, features 265 bedrooms and is conveniently located next to Glasgow Prestwick Airport. It’s easily accessible from nearby towns such as Kilmarnock, Prestwick, Ayr, and Glasgow if required. Live in accommodation is available if required.

Your main duties will include:
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation to ensure consistent quality.
- Working closely with the kitchen team to prepare and present diverse buffet menus featuring a wide range of cuisines.
- Ensuring all menu items are fully stocked and replenished throughout service to maintain a seamless dining experience.
- Designing and rotating cost-effective menus that offer a wide variety of options that will meet guest expectations.
- Ensuring compliance with all hygiene, food safety, and quality standards at all times.
- Managing inventory, overseeing food deliveries, and maintaining effective stock control to support cost efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- A passionate and experienced chef with a proven track record in a culinary setting.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management and communication skills.
- A creative approach to menu design and presentation, bringing fresh ideas to every dish.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring consistent quality and high standards.
- Must be flexible to work 5 out of 7 days and willing to cover split shifts when required.
