About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Materials Inventory Manager to join our growing operations team. This critical role will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock levels, optimizing inventory turnover (ITO), and maintaining best-in-class materials management processes across our supply chain which will include multiple sites.
You will play a key part in driving inventory efficiency, reducing waste, and ensuring that the right materials are available at the right time, supporting smooth production and customer delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of materials inventory, including receipt, storage, and distribution.
- Ensure high levels of stock accuracy through cycle counting, audits, and root cause analysis of variances.
- Monitor and improve Inventory Turnover (ITO), identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with procurement, planning, and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to optimize space, cost, and handling efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records within ERP systems and generate regular reports on inventory KPIs.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and analysis.
- Train and develop warehouse and inventory team members on best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in materials management, inventory control, or supply chain roles.
- Strong understanding of inventory metrics, particularly stock accuracy and ITO management.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems preferably SAP.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Energetic and hands-on.
- Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred but not essential for the right experience and track record.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
