The Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our close-knit team. Your primary focus will be transforming client ideas into striking visual proofs and print-ready files. Because we operate as a highly collaborative small business, this role goes beyond just sitting at a screen. You will have the unique opportunity to see your designs through to completion, occasionally stepping away from the desk to help bring the physical graphics to life and ensuring our clients are taken care of along the way.
Industry-specific training provided! While graphic design experience is needed, we are happy to offer full training on our specific signage software, equipment, and processes.Key Responsibilities
- Design & Artwork: Create engaging layouts, prepare digital files for large format printing, and generate visual proofs for client approval.
- Quality Control: Ensure all artwork is perfectly scaled, color-matched, and formatted correctly for our specific printers and plotters.
- Hands-On Preparation: Step into the production area as needed to help weed, mask, or prep your printed graphics, ensuring your designs transition flawlessly from screen to reality.
- Project Flow: Support the wider team by fielding the occasional customer email, updating order statuses, or helping finalize basic project details to keep things moving smoothly.
What We Are Looking For
- Creative Foundation: Proficiency in standard design software (such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop) with a great eye for typography, color, and layout.
- Detail-Oriented: You take pride in precision, double-checking measurements and spelling before anything goes to print.
- Adaptable & Collaborative: You enjoy a varied workday and are more than happy to roll up your sleeves to help the team with hands-on tasks or customer interactions when things get busy.
- Team Player: You have a positive attitude and fit perfectly into a relaxed, friendly, and family-oriented team dynamic.
