Sales Executive – Convenience Sector

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Sales Executive to join our Convenience Sector team.
This is an exciting opportunity to help grow our presence within the convenience retail market, working with major convenience retailers, mixed-use developers, and commercial partners, and leading organisations including Co-op, Tesco, Urban and Civic and Morrisons. Our innovative modular retail solutions provide fast, flexible, and sustainable retail spaces that enable customers to expand their offering quickly and efficiently.
Reporting to the Convenience Senior Account Manager and the General Manager, you will play a key role in generating new business, developing client relationships, and supporting the delivery of commercial growth across the UK.
The Role
As Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing existing accounts, and managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, generate, and develop new business opportunities within the convenience retail, commercial development, and property sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with major convenience retailers, mixed-use developers, commercial landlords, contractors, and key decision-makers.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation through to quotation, negotiation, and securing new business.
- Support the implementation of strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed business growth targets.
- Manage and develop existing customer accounts, identifying opportunities for repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Present and promote our modular retail solutions, demonstrating the value and flexibility they offer to customers.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams including Design, Estimating, Projects, and Operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and customer records using the company CRM system.
- Represent the business at client meetings
- Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the convenience retail sector.
About You
We're looking for someone who is commercially driven, relationship-focused, and eager to develop their career in business development.
You'll ideally have:
- 2–3 years' experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Experience selling into the retail, property, construction, modular, or convenience sectors would be advantageous.
- A proven ability to build relationships, generate new business, and achieve sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and using CRM systems.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Additional European language skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
