Quality Assurance Technician - Nairn
Pay: £13.11 per hour
45 hours per week
We are seeking to appoint a Quality Assurance Technician at our busy site at Nairn. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference, maintain product quality, drive high standards and work as part of a supportive team.
The role is full time, working 45 hrs per week, on a dayshift,11am – 7:30pm, 5 days over 7.
The role involves, but is not limited to:
- Providing day-to-day technical support for the Technical Manager and site management team to deliver the technical vision on site, driving behaviour and culture change through focus on people, processes, plant, product and communication
- Implement appropriate procedures and standards to ensure compliance to, the requirements and implications of legislation, Company and customer "Codes of Practice" and Good Manufacturing Practice Standards
- Carry out traceability’s exercises
- Supporting all GMP audits and Glass audits
- Provide support to Technical Team for customers audits
- Carrying out daily/weekly/monthly/annual food safety and quality and labelling compliance checks, ensuring that systems and equipment requirements are understood & adhered to.
- Controlling and issuing of paperwork and the effective monitoring/auditing of the same.
- Provide support for the Laboratory when required
This is a critical role in the technical team, full training will be provided however the role requires a conscientious, hardworking individual, with a high level of attention to detail.
Preferably the successful candidate will have HACCP and Food Safety awareness. Experience in a technical role or a food handling role is advantageous but not necessary as full training will be given.
