Role Overview
This role plays a vital part in promoting and representing our brand. The spa operation sits at the heart of our business, making this position a key component of our overall success. Operating within a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment, you will be expected to remain knowledgeable within your specialist area, using your expertise to support, develop, and inspire your team while consistently delivering the highest standards of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily uniform and presentation checks to ensure the highest standards are maintained
- Work closely with Elemis and Clarins Account Managers to maximise retail opportunities
- Collaborate with the In-House Trainer and Spa Management team to ensure KPI targets are met
- Attend the 8am booking station or ensure appropriate team attendance
- Participate in spa tours, ensuring therapists follow SOPs, correct talk lines, and demonstrations
- Carry out day-to-day management responsibilities within the spa
- Ensure appropriate follow-up actions are completed following trade tests
- Uphold Champneys Spa customer service standards at all times
- Work closely with the Reception team to maximise revenue opportunities
- Deliver beauty treatments to the required standards while adhering to allocated treatment times
- Maintain exceptional levels of room, equipment, and therapist presentation, ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment
- Monitor and communicate daily treatment and retail sales performance to the therapist team
- Organise and manage effective stock control for treatment and retail products in line with purchase order procedures
- Support the Spa Manager with recruitment, including interviews, trade tests, and inductions
- Ensure efficient and effective therapist rota scheduling
- Assess therapist performance and support ongoing training, development, and specialist treatment skills
- Deliver treatments and training to the highest standards while supporting business demands
- Support and develop apprentices within the spa team
- Assist the Spa Manager with administrative duties as required
- Liaise with product suppliers to support training needs, retail performance, stock levels, displays, and promotions
