Harvest Digital is an independent London media agency based in the West End, with a track record of over 20 years in providing specialist digital marketing services to a wide range of clients - from start-up to blue-chip and across multiple sectors. We specialise in Paid Search(PPC), Programmatic, SEO/GEO, Digital Out of Home (DOOH) and Connected TV(CTV). We are now looking to add to our vibrant team with the appointment of a part-time Finance Assistant (15 hours per week), to help make sure all of our beans are being well and truly counted!
Job Description
Reporting to the Management Accountant, the Finance Assistant will take responsibility for:
- Day-to-Day Processing: Enter financial transactions—including purchase/sales invoices, staff expenses, and receipts—into Xero accounting system.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and assist with debtor, creditor and expense reconciliations to ensure ledger accuracy.
- Payment Runs: Prepare and upload supplier payment runs and manage employee expense claims according to company policy.
- Credit Control: Follow up on outstanding customer invoices and assist with debt collection.
- Reporting: Track certain cost lines to enable managers to have oversight of their spend. Prepare client expenditure reports for review and approval as part of the month end.
- Admin Support: Manage the finance inbox enquiries and escalate where needed. Maintain filing systems.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years previous experience in basic bookkeeping or general accounting support.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in digital finance systems (e.g., Excel, Xero, Sage, or Oracle).
- Soft Skills: Strong numerical, communication, and organisational skills, along with a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
Pay: £12,000.00-£14,000.00 per year
