Based in Wallingford, BCAS Ltd is a successful and growing engineering company with ambitious expansion plans — but we retain a friendly, family feel. We’re looking for an experienced and confident Customer Service Coordinator to be the first point of contact for customer enquiries and to provide administrative support to the Sales and Service team.

Responsibilities of the role
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email
- Log all leads, allocate them to the right team member, and ensure timely follow‑-up
- Process sales orders from start to finish, including quotation, liaising with suppliers, delivery and invoicing
- Source and order kits and parts for compressed air and vacuum equipment
- Keep customers advised on the progress of their order – chase suppliers where necessary
· Arrange despatches and deliveries
- Monitor and record stock levels
- Provide support to the Service Manager for the processing of maintenance and repair work
- Provide exceptional customer service, building relationships and ensuring all customers are dealt with efficiently and effectively
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell
- Carry out other ad-hoc projects as required by the business
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 1 year in a customer service, sales admin, or order processing role
- Experience managing inboxes, scheduling, and invoicing
- A professional, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong customer service skills and a genuinely customer-focused approach
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy
- An inquisitive mindset and a passion for opportunity spotting
- A proactive and commercial approach to resolving customer queries
- A technical mindset (engineering experience is helpful but not essential)
- Self-motivated with the ability to take the initiative and work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident with IT
