Reports to the Content Operations Lead. Full-time role, part of a 24/7 operational team. This role is offered on a UK employment contract. Candidates must be based in the UK as we are unable to support remote working from outside the country due to local employment and tax legislation.
This role sits within Deltatre's Content Operations function, supporting the live and on-demand (VOD) content operations that power sports and entertainment platforms in a 24/7 environment. The team handles the full content lifecycle — ingestion, enrichment, scheduling, publishing, and monitoring — for products used by millions of consumers worldwide.
Reporting to the Content Operations Lead, the Content Operations Manager provides end-to-end execution of content operations activities and acts as the link between internal delivery teams and external partners (content owners, broadcasters, federations). Who Thrives Here
Content operations at Deltatre sits at the intersection of live event tempo, system complexity, and editorial judgement. The visible work is content getting published on time; the work that matters is the structural — what gets documented, what gets automated, what gets escalated upstream when a pattern shows up. People who do this well combine operational steadiness with calm authority under client pressure, and are honest with the Lead about what is working and what is not.
A successful Content Operations Manager at Deltatre partners well with the Content Operations Lead (they add capacity rather than compete for airtime), protective of the team's time and focus during demanding periods, and curious about how the systems and workflows could be better. The role rewards steady judgement and structural thinking more than heroics.
Process and what to expect
Salary starts from of €26K at entry level rising to €42K for those with significant relevant experience. Where you land depends on your experience, technical background, and the stack you bring. If your expectations sit outside the range, tell us anyway —we're happy to have an open conversation. Internal progression is assessed through a structured process combining a technical assessment and a competency-based interview. The role falls under CCNL Commercio| D.Lgs. 96/2026.
Assessment stages:
-
Introductory conversation: a step for us to get to know each other better, and for us to answer all questions you might have around Deltatre.
-
Codility assessment: a structured assessment on the Codility platform that you complete in your own time. It gives us a hands-on view of your technical capability and we use the results as a basis for the technical conversation.
-
1-hour Technical round of Interview: we will deep dive on your experience and on the Codility assessment, and explore the technical decisions you have made in your past work.
-
1-hour Competency Based Interview: we will ask you situational questions around how you deal with real-life scenarios at work. Easier doing it, more than explaining it.
If any of these formats would be difficult for you, tell us — we adjust regularly and can usually accommodate.
Accessibility and accommodation questions are welcome at any stage. Tell us what would work for you.
