We are looking for an enthusiatic, hardworking Sous Chef to join our lovely team here at The Langton.
Our pub is the heart of the community in St Annes, Brislington and prides itself on providing pub classics done very well in a relaxed, comfy environment. The food plays a very important role in the viability of the business and we have built a fantastic reputation especially for our Sunday lunches.
We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our excellent team and help us progress our food offering by supporting the Head Chef and bringing there own ideas to the team. You must also be very organised, efficient and self-motivated with the ability to work well within a team.
ROLE DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent organisational skills
- Effective communication
- Maintain a positive working environment
- Excellent standards of cleanliness
- Punctual and well presented
- Maintain and manage hygiene records and be familiar with Safer Food Better Business, HACCP & COSHH
- Assist in creating daily specials and input into seasonal menus
The successful candidate will share in our vision, and must work effectively alongside the existing team to strive to exceed expectations of our customers.
What we can offer you
This role can be either full-time or part-time depending on the applicants preference. The recruitment process includes a two-stage interview process that includes a trial shift.
Job Type: Permanent part-time of full-time.
Pay: £13-£14 per hour
