Job Title: Healthcare Assistant – GLA Area

We are looking for caring, reliable and motivated Healthcare Assistants to join our team within the GLA area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting people and building a career in health and social care.
The role involves providing high-quality care and support to service users, promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing at all times. You will work as part of a supportive care team and receive training to help you develop your knowledge, confidence and professional skills.
Important eligibility requirement:
Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. This role is suitable for applicants with Settled Status, Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), or another valid UK settled status. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this position.
Main duties include:
- Supporting service users with daily living tasks
- Assisting with personal care where required
- Promoting independence, dignity and respect
- Supporting mobility and general wellbeing
- Following care plans and company policies
- Reporting any concerns to senior staff
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Communicating professionally with service users, families and colleagues
Training and qualifications provided:
Successful applicants will receive full support and training, including:
- English and Maths training
- Care Certificate training
- Level 2 Diploma in Care
- Customer Services for Health & Social Care Settings
- Introduction to Mental Health & Wellbeing
The Care Certificate and Level 2 Diploma in Care will be taught and awarded as part of the training and development pathway.
