Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative/Driver to join our team. This role involves both warehouse duties and delivery driving, requiring a proactive individual with excellent organisational skills and a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain processes, contributing to timely deliveries and efficient warehouse management.
The role includes driving company vehicles. Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and be eligible to drive under the company's motor insurance policy.
Responsibilities
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries efficiently and safely across London and surrounding areas (our current vans are long wheel base and under 3.5t)
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and with accuracy
- Assist with day-to-day warehouse operations
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse
- Following all health & safety procedures
- Supporting the team as required
Qualifications
- Full UK driving license (essential)
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery within London (preferred but not essential)
- Valid forklift license (preferred but not essential)
- Good level of physical fitness – ability to lift and handle goods
- Strong work ethic and willingness to “pull your weight” in a team environment
- Good time management and reliability
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations
