We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member to join our full-time team. This role is essential in ensuring our guests receive excellent dining experiences that reflect the high standards of Marriott and Lighthouse Hotel Management.
- Deliver friendly, efficient, and attentive service to all guests in our food and beverage outlets.
- Take customer orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in setting up and clearing dining areas before, during, and after service.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve any service issues courteously and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and hotel policies regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
- Support team members and contribute to a positive working environment.
- Previous experience in a food and beverage role within the catering and hospitality industry is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and orders.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety standards is advantageous.
