Category B Driver
We are looking for van drivers to join our Transport Department! As one of our delivery drivers, your role goes beyond simply travelling from point A to point B (“multi-drop”). You will be a driving force behind our company, ensuring that every customer order is delivered with care, while maintaining a friendly approach and providing the excellent customer service our clients rely on.
This is a physically demanding role, involving more physical activity than most driving positions. However, thanks to the variety, customer interaction and satisfaction of a job well done, no two days will be the same.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Delivering goods to our customers (“multi-drop”)
- Collecting returns, overpayments and customer complaints
- Keeping the assigned vehicle in good working order and clean
- Reporting any damage or losses noticed on the assigned vehicle
- Handling customer payments and reconciling payments made during the route
- Completing and submitting all required documentation accurately and on time
Requirements:
- A valid Category B driving licence
- Good spoken English
- Willingness to commit to permanent employment
- Commitment, responsibility and reliability
- Good physical fitness required to meet the demands of the role
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail and enthusiasm for the job
- Good organisational skills
