We are a Shopfitting Company based in Estover, Plymouth and have a purpose-built factory to deliver bespoke interiors for any commercial or residential environment. Our modern machine shop with full CNC technology gives us the ability to manufacture all type of joinery and is complemented by our spray shop and in house upholstery department.
We are looking for a CAD Technician with previous setting out experience, with a joinery or shopfitting background.
The duties of the CAD Technician will include but are not limited to:
· Site Surveys
· Using 2D AutoCAD to produce production drawings
· Producing cutting lists using proprietary software
· Procurement of materials
· Maintaining accurate records and drawing organisation
To be successful in this role you will have to be self-motivated, highly focused, and able to work to deadlines.
Requirements
Previous setting out experience essential with a joinery or shopfitting background.
Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment
Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD essential, 3D experience with sketchup would be advantageous
Proficient in MS Office 365
CNC programming experience would be useful but not essential as training will be given
