This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hospitality experience who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the day-to-day running of a busy country pub.
About the Role
You will work closely with the management team to ensure exceptional service standards, support and motivate staff, and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Leading shifts and supporting the daily operation of the pub
- Delivering excellent customer service and resolving customer issues professionally
- Supervising, training and motivating front-of-house staff
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service
- Supporting stock control and ordering processes
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, health and safety, and company procedures
- Assisting with staff rotas and team development
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A positive, can-do attitude and excellent work ethic
- Ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods
- Personal licence holder desirable but not essential
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays
