Job Description:
JCS (SW) Ltd is looking for a skilled Carpenter / Joiner to join our campervan conversion team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing and installing high-quality wooden interiors for campervans, ensuring excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install bespoke furniture and cabinetry for campervans.
- Build beds, storage units, kitchen units, wardrobes, and seating areas.
- Fit plywood panels, worktops, flooring, wall and ceiling linings.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Carry out repairs, modifications, and finishing work.
- Work closely with electricians and vehicle technicians during conversions.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards.
Requirements:
- Experience as a carpenter or joiner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
- Experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday (and Saturdays if required).
- 40 hours per week.
