Carlton Lodge is an Activity Centre based in Carlton Miniott, we provide activities for groups of all ages and abilities, and we also offer a residential experience for groups doing onsite, offsite activities or for groups who just want to use our facilities.
Job purpose
· Provide the highest standard of cleanliness within the Centre.
· To assist in the provision of a professional housekeeping and catering service.
Main Duties
· Clean and maintain the fixtures, fittings and furnishings and report any defects arising.
· Ensure all areas are adequately stocked with supplies.
· Assist in the smooth running of food service and cleaning down.
· Work as part of a team
· To assist the Facilities Manager and Cook's when and where necessary
· Cleaning of the kitchen and working to ensure that the levels of service are provided to residential and day groups and to the agreed standards, throughout their stay.
Skills and experience
· Ability to work as part of a team and a mature outlook.
· Previous experience would be preferred but training will be given.
· Knowledge of food hygiene would be an advantage. But not essential.
Hours of work and Wage.
· £12.71ph
· Seasonal contract starting ASAP
Involves some weekend work, early mornings, and early evenings.
***This contract will end October 31st 2026 but there will be the opportunity to work casually over winter and restart a seasonal contract in February 2027***
