- Good knowledge of food and beverage service is essential
- Good communication skills to liaise with guests and colleagues is essential
- Work alongside a great team to ensure customer service is carried out to the highest of standards
- Work alongside the catering team ensuring that customer requests and dietary requirements are dealt with as needed
- Preparing drinks to order, including service of cask ale, hot drinks and cocktails
- serving drinks to guests at their table
- clearing tables and washing glasses
- You will also assist waiting staff when busy with serving meals, taking condiments and cutlery to customers tables and be responsible for ensuring that everyone is happy and enjoys their experience
- Candidates should be confident in dealing with any situations and be able to resolve any issues quickly
- assist with keeping guest areas clean and tidy and checking the area is cleaned down in preparation for the next customers
- Assisting with light cleaning duties as required, in accordance with legislation and regulations
- Reliable transport is essential due to our location
- Hourly rate complies with National Minimum wage and National Living wage
- National Minimum Wage and National Living wage applicable to qualifying candidates
- Hourly rate for over 21 from £12.71.Under 21 years of age from £10.85

Job Summary: We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic people to join our fantastic team for the summer or for a permanent position. As a key member of the Bowgie team, our bar staff will be working as a team to ensure that dining areas operate smoothly. This team member must be able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and be friendly and outgoing to look after customers and work along side team members, as well as effectively making use of quiet periods with their team. Bar staff should ensure drinks orders are served in a timely manner, paying close attention to customer service, comfort and enjoyment of guests and job satisfaction for themselves and other members of the team.
Main Purpose of Job:
· To ensure customers are given a friendly welcome
· To assist guests who have a prior reservation and show them to their table
· To assist customers with App ordering and kiosk ordering
· To pour and serve drinks to order, including cask ales, hot drinks and cocktails
· Take food, cutlery and condiments to customers and clear tables (plates & glasses) in a timely manner
· Ensure customers have the best possible experience
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Serving drinks to customers
Keeping the working environment clean such as indoor and outdoor seating area, work stations and polishing cutlery
· Ensure team cohesion with good communication skills
· To restock fridges and bar stock daily
· Check customer condiments are well stocked and rotated at the start of every shift and during each shift
· During shift changes provide a sufficient handover
· Provide good knowledge of food and beverage services on offer to customers and new members of staff
· Ensure dining areas are clean and comfortable for customers (including the floor)
· Provide table check backs to dining guests
· Work alongside catering team to carry out customer requests and dietary requirements
· Deal with customer complaints if and when they arise, following company guidelines and do so promptly and with confidence
· Resolve any issues and report to appropriate members of the team
· Ensure dessert fridge & freezer is well stocked and clean
· Prepare desserts to order
