We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Assist in the supervision and management of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient team coordination and performance
- Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency and high standards of quality across all dishes
- Support the head chef in menu planning, development, and implementation of new culinary concepts
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Lead by example in food preparation, cooking, and presentation to uphold the establishment’s reputation for excellence
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to optimise operational efficiency
- Assist with training staff on food safety procedures, cooking techniques, and service standards
- Support in serving customers when necessary, providing excellent hospitality experience
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment
- Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
- Solid knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management
